This is a 1961 Rambler American Convertible in fantastic shape body wise. Interior is great. Motorruns great. Has new Brake drums new brake shoes new wheel cylinders new brake lines and hoses. It was recently tuned up with points condenser wires cap and rotor and plugs. Has a new battery and fuel filter. It was originally red and was painted a long time ago white. It has usual small scratchesbut still looks fine for now. The top is goodbut not new tires aretrue wide white walls and have great tread. I drove it home( about 20 miles ) and it went down the road as good as any 60's car. The only and I mean only rust spot islower behind drivers door and it is not bad. There is no rust on the underside. I would replace the master cylinder ( leaks out the back slightly )and rebuild the carb ( accelerator pump dosen't work and choke needs adjustment ). This car is not a show car it is a veryneat little curser that still needs some TLC andis getting very hard to find. It does leak some fluidfrom the power steering from sitting so much. There is a dent in the back bumper and the temp gauge is not reading. That is all I find wrong with the car.See pictures or ask any questions. Buyer is responsible to pick up. Cash when car is picked up. Tell me what ever pictures you want to see and I will add them.IF time and parts availability permit I am going to fix the carb and replace master cylinder IFI can find the parts reasonably.Sold as is but you will like it !!My phone number is 608-697-8796 John.
