Car description |
---|
1965 AMC Rambler American, 232 cu. motor, 3 speed flash-o-matic auto trans, column shift.
Have original purchase paperwork from 1965. matching numbers.
This car is my daily driver. It has not been 'fully restored', rather items addressed as they have been needed.
Interior is 7/10, from seat has few rips, carpet in good shape, headliner decent, rear seats OK, dash in decent shape. Prior owner removed stock radio and put in a shit 90's head unit, since removed, no radio in presently, wiring still there.
New windshield last week, very little underbody rust, nothing structural. new tires a few months ago.
New alternator
New fuse board
all glass in good shape
16 gallon fuel tank, I've been getting 20mpg on interstate.
What doesnt work: (if not listed here, IT WORKS)
- Interior dash lights- headlights work, but dash lights do not.
-Fuel Gauge
-Speedo cable has been disconnected, the spedogear has come unsplined from the gauge, so it bounces and is noisy, so I just uncoupled the cable from the back of the gauge.
-horn
-at high speed only, (55+), trans starts to slip
-small (dollar bill sized) dent to rear passenger upper corner
contact for additional pictures/ video of running or whatever you want.
