A very nice original American. Top of the line 440H hardtop. Sweet running 232 engine that purrs, automatic shifts like butter. I really love this sturdy little Rambler, but too many cars and moving, just can't keep them all. Bought from a friend who moved to Colorado from California, this American is rust free and solid as they are from California. Body is straight and nice, some small dings and faint dents, and paint is tired out, so it really needs new paint to be nice. One little bubble that could be some rust on one quarter panel or some repair? and there is a repaired place on the trunk floor, not sure what that was, but repaired correctly. Interior is tired, seats all intact and solid, but under the old seat covers the cloth is due for replacement. Haven't registered it for the road, but driving around my property, runs nice, starts right up, steers nice, brakes good. There is a rattle under the front when you hit a rough spot, but haven't found it. Glass all good, except windshield has a crack. Tires look good, have tons of deep tread, but they are older in age. I noticed the speedometer kind of bounce's, fuel gauge might not work. Trying to have full disclosure, some minor problems typical of the age, but all and all, one of the nicest original American hardtops around. I also have an extra almost complete set of the upper aluminum trim pieces in good condition that I'll include, and I have a parts car with a nicer grille in the back that I would include that grille if the buyer wants that as well.
