1969 SC/Rambler... This is a nice daily driver condition, Not a Show car. I have enjoyed this car for the last 8 years and always ran good for me. This car was restored about 25-30 yrs ago and is showing some signs of needed body repair, some rust showing through on both sides in front of the rear tires, a gouge in the paint at the top of the passenger door, the lacquer paint is showing cracks on the hood and a crack in the blue decal on the trunk .Both doors need adjusting, you have to slam them to shut, I don't think the hinges are shot, because I don't feel any play up and down when I try to move them. The headliner was cover over the original ribbed material, I think you can see it in the pictures. I tried to show pictures of these imperfections. From what I was told, this car used to race at New England Drag way back in the early seventies, it was a multiple class winner back in the day. I do not have the specs on the engine, but was rebuilt back in the day. As far as the seats go, this is a mystery, I've asked many AMC Specialist and they all have their own opinions on why and when this change in material was done. Having said that, a friend of mine that has his own upholstery shop and AMC's said this material was correct from the very early seventies or even late sixties. I have most of the brand cables to hook up the emergency brake, I also have a new glove box in the trunk. This SC/Rambler is on the 1512 Registry. There is NO TITLE for this car, Rhode Island does not offer or require titles for cars older than 15 or 20yrs, I forget which one. This car is a Beast and a Blast to drive, it naturally gets a lot of attention, you can hear it coming from blocks away. The reason for selling it is I don't use it enough and when cars just sit unused, things start to happen or go wrong. I will try to answer any questions you might have. It's up to you to arrange shipping, I will do anything to help on my end. I would like a Non Refundable deposit within 3 days of $1000.00
