You are bidding on a 1970 AMC Rebel Machine numbers matching 390 4spd,fresh off a complete nut & bolt rotisserie restoration restored to better than new condition. This is one of only 1000 r/w/b cars built of that how many were 4speeds and how many are left, ot many. Also one look at the r/w/b ones says MACHINE unlike theotheraprox. 1200 solid color ones.I bought this car a few years back in sad looking shape but with a very solid body, found an NOSfrontdrivers fender and a mint pas. front fender from aparted out machineI also found 2 doors inS.C. that were rust free from another machine that was being parted out. My shop mounted the body to a rotisserie and we hadall of the sheet metal media blasted to bare metal, hen epoxy coated the entirecar, hen we repaired anything that showed up from blasting by cutting out the badforming and butt welding any patches, hen body worked and blocked entire car to perfection. We then painted the underside and inside with a single stage paint and the outside with basecoat and cleared then blocked again and buffed. All nuts bolts clips etc. were blasted and painted to correct finishes all new brake lines and fuel lines were installed, he motor and transmission were rebuilt, he seats and door panels were redone along with the headliner, arpet, nd dash. The brake booster was redone wiper motor was rebuilt and plated, new starter, date coded plug wires installed, arburetor was rebuilt and plated. Since we used doors from a different machine we had to remove the data plate from the org. door and use correct rivets to install on new door, e also had to remove the decal with the build date and matching vin number and the only way I could do that without destroying itwas to cutthe sheet metal around it and attach that to thedoor. When we first finished the car the only things that we could not findwas the correct air breatherwith correct hood seal and the org. exhaust manifolds, incethat I havegotten both and installed the air breather but not yet changed the exhaust manifolds. The manifolds will go with the car and if someone pays the buy it now price I will install them before delivery otherwise installation will be left as option to be determined. I have tried to post the pictures that show the details taken the restore this car but could only include the ebay max. of 24 if you want more you can contact me and I will send them out to you.
