Car description

What a head turner. I have had a lot of wonderful comments over the years not mention fun with this car but its time to part with it. Time to pay down debt. That is the only reason I am selling. I don't need to sell but have decided it would be nice to pay down some bills. Everyone always wants to know if or thinks it's a Plymouth Road Runner but guess what? AMC had this design in 1967 and Mopar didn't come out with the Road Runner till 1969 A Great Summer driver. I would describe this car as a good dependable driver with a 20 year old restoration that is showing wear. See pics. Minor dings and some bondo in quarter panels behind doors right in front of rear wheels. Driver door needs new hinge pins as it sags a little. Passenger door has big paint chip (that someone painted in a lighter yellow) See Pics. Car shifts nice, uns good, ses a little oil and also leaks a little on the garage floor (nothing serious). I have always just placed a small piece of cardboard under car and its never been enough to bother with. Top goes up and down, rakes work all functions well. Someone back in the day cut in 6"x9" holes in the rear panels (see pics). The turn signal sometimes stays stuck on left turn but could be fixed with a new plastic turn signal piece that goes in the steering wheel. Also a crack in the windshield. There is wonderful history that is in the form of a 3 ring binder that dates back to 1968 when the original owner purchased the car and then in 1970 when Dr Merle Musselman purchased for his wife Dorothy and that is where the car spent the majority of its life. This binder is chocked full of notes from the mechanics and all repairs done to the car over the years along with info on the different owners. It also includes owner manuals and such. I will provide a link to some videos tomorrow. Far from perfect but presentable and really cool. One of the rarest convertibles in existence. You don't see to many Rebel Convertibles listed for sale. Fly in and drive it home

If you like you, an purchase the rust free parts car that I have also. Comes with hood trunk lid and good front fenders as well as bumpers. See Pics. An extra $500 buys the parts car, ood, enders and bumpers. If the car sells high enough I may include for no extra cost.
