Up for sale is my 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I purchased it from the family who had purchased it new in Virginia. I've had it for over 2 years and am scaling back my collection. The car is in very good, original condition with no rust and very low miles (35,459). It is still being driven on nice days so mileage will go up a little. The Spider is the Veloce model which is Alfa's top of the line Spider, It features Leather Seats with red stitching, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Mirror, Alloy Wheels, Alfa Romeo AM/FM cassette, etc. The 2 liter fuel injected alloy double overhead cam 4 cylinder engine runs great. No issues at all. No oil consumption, smoke or anything unusual. Same goes for the transmission. It shifts great throughout all the gears. No grinding or syncro issues. Having spent most of its life in Virginia, the Spider is virtually rust-free. It also hasn't been repainted so you can see there hasn't been any previous damage, rust repair, etc. There are a couple of areas where a car cover rubbed through the paint. These areas are only on the deck lid spoiler, the deck lid itself and above the passenger side door handle. A couple of minor door dings here and there as well. I was tempted to have the deck lid repainted but decided to leave the car original as many new owners would prefer it that way. You have the option to leave it as is or have the lid repainted. The convertible top is still in good condition with the exception of a very small tear about a quarter inch in size. The inside of the top is missing some fabric but it's still fully operational. The rear window is clear and damage free. The interior is in good condition. A vinyl cap mold has been added. It does a very good job concealing a couple of cracks that were on top of the dash from sun damage. A small seat repair has been carried out on the driver seat bottom to conceal a small tear in the leather. The repair is hardly noticeable. The car has been well maintained and included are service records, the latest covering new motor mounts, new clutch master and slave cylinders, new driveshaft center support bearing, new front brake hoses, new fuel filter, spark plugs, air and oil filter. The original set of manuals and books is also included. All the lights, original Alfa Romeo radio, power, mirrors and windows work. The AC does not blow cold. It has newer tires that are about 3 years old and have less than 2000 miles on them. The car is completely original with the exception of a sport muffler by Centerline Alfa. It's not loud at all but just accentuates the classic Alfa sound. This will make a real nice classic Alfa for someone who likes them with low miles, family ownership, unmolested and original with a little patina. My asking price is $11,500Here is a link to a video walk-around https://youtu.be/_sKG2RRjVqoInterior switches and window video here https://youtu.be/chmpGUO_ilwTest drive here.... https://youtu.be/yvH2QZ-c_Zo
