1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce
Cabernet Red Metallic
57,000 Miles
This is a very nice Alfa Romeo. I bought this car from a local 75-year-old guy that bought the car when it was just 4 years old. He represented it to be the original paint and interior. It is very clean with the exception of a ding shown in the last photo. The mileage was represented to be to be the correct mileage. Upon later pulling up an AutoCheck report I discovered that it had a mileagediscrepancy when it was around 4 years old. This was during the time that the previous owner that I bought it from bought it. I called him and ask about this and he said that he knew nothing about this and he guaranteed the mileage to be correct. He later moved here to central North Carolina from New York and signed the North Carolina title to my company stating that the mileage is correct. It is very clean for a car of this age. Everything is very tight including the doors, steering, etc. Everything currently works on the car. The power windows are very smooth. The power antenna works. The radio was replaced with a more modern Blaupunkt radio. I have the original Alfa Romeo radio that will go with the car. The transmission shifts smooth. I don't know what happened in regard to the previous title issue but it would appear to be as represented by the past owner that the mileage is correct. I question that the AutoCheck could be a mistake but that is up to the potential buyer to determine. Any potential buyer is welcome to come and inspect the car before bidding. The other thing that I would like to disclose is the carpet in the cabin area is an orange color and the trunk is black. I don't know if it came that way or not. Again the man that had owned it since it was 4 years old stated that it is the original paint and interior. It is rust free. The previous owner kept the car covered in an enclosed garage. He had it regularly serviced at an Italian car service center. He sold the car to me due to health reasons.
The car will remain with me until the buyers funds clear my bank.
Buyer is responsible for pickup and delivery of the car.
I reserve to end the auction at anytime.
Car is sold as is with all faults if any.
