1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce
Ibelieve I am the second owner of this spider, it was purchased new in the San Francisco,Bay Area and has stayed here since then. (I have the CarFax as well) It was never used as an every day car but for weekend and some occasional use and was regularly stored for a long periods of time. However for some time, I used it as my regular transportation and I found that it a very dependable car, no overheating or failure to operate well, only some moderate discomfort for an older man like myself. There is absolutely no rust on the vehicle, gas tank was drained once and cleaned, clutch looks good and runs strong.Car was regularly maintained by an Italian cars specialist in the South Bay. Before listing this car, I did an oil change service, new muffler, both motor mounts and some other services both cosmetic and mechanic.I've collected several classics as my hobby during the years and I am forced to let some of them go to new homes due to my age and poor health, also I am moving to a smaller place with limited covered storage. My policy on selling my classics is on as is basis even though I generously approve any necessary repair and maintenance suggested by my long time mechanic. As far as cosmetics and appearance, top is new and is top of the line canvas, seats are original and good, no crack on dash, paint in general is good no fading but there are imperfections like scratches on front fenders and one ding on left fender (see the pictures please) and some more here and there. Radio is still the original one and looks like it is disconnected or perhaps I never seriously tried to use it!Please be noted that I tried to the best of my ability and knowledge to describe the car as correctly as possible so please see all the pictures and descriptions and ask any and all questions you may have before engaging in the bidding process.I assume that the potential buyer is capable of fulfilling his or her financial commitment upon termination of the auction as I am not in a position to finance the car.I appreciate your cooperation in this regard and I thank you for your attention.
