Up for auction is this Willys CJ2A
This is a great little Jeep !
She has a new battery and starts up and runs good. The motor was upgraded to a later style motor at some point in time which was very common back then.
Jeep has a clear title.
This was a hunting Jeep that was used by an old timer in this hills of Montana for many years to hunt deer with.
We have recently driven the jeep around town a few times as well as around our own property. We recently bled the brakes on it but they still feel a little bit squishy and could use some tinkering or additional bleeding to be working perfectly. We are not using the gas tank under the seat and are running the motor on a bottle mounted under the hood. The gas tank could need to be replaced due to age. We have not removed it to inspect it.
This is an unrestored CJ2A that would make a fun restoration project or you could just drive it the way it is with all of that vintage patina which is the way we like it !
The previous owner did do some welding on some of the stress and vibration cracks on this jeep over the years and we did notice that the body does have some spots of rust on it that would need to be repaired for a restoration. Especially under the wooden board on the back compartment.
Someone also built a neat wooden extension on the back of the jeep which we tend to use quite often when we need to haul some things around in it.
Good luck on the auction and if you have any questions please send us a message through ebay.
We will not end the auction early for a buy it now price or reveal our reserve price. Highest bidder wins.
