Car description

This 1952 Willys is more than just a classic military-style Jeep. With an upgraded motor, full roll cage, big winch up front, and more, it's a true useful 4x4 with a true patriotic appearance.

Camo green and earned stars instantly makes this one recognize as a military-style machine. This one even has the right vintage details, like the skinny mud tires, tow hoop, and ax and shovel mounted on the side. But that XBull 13,000lb winch up front signals this classic Jeep is ready for modern duty, too. In fact, you have halogen headlamps and a full roll bar, which they would have loved to have had in the Army. There's even a hood scoop and a hint of headers in the fenders that indicate that the power is upgraded, too (more on that in a moment.)

The Jeep was quite basic, but that doesn't mean there weren't some considerations given to this one. The seats look like they have newer canvas covers that are still ready for the robust outdoor lifestyle. Plus, you now have seatbelts. There's even a bikini top to keep the sunshine off your shoulders. The rear has cool ways to carry the essentials with two jerry cans and three classic ammo boxes, and there's a spot light back there so you can see it all even at night. One of the best upgrades for practical use is a full set of gauges. From behind the wheel, you'll note three levers on the floor, one for the three-speed manual transmission and the other two for the two-speed transfer case. The middle one selects 2 or 4-wheel drive, while the one on the far right selects high and low ranges. If that seems confusing, the original instructions are mounted on the dash. Cool, right?

Under the hood is a big upgrade in power. The 231 cubic-inch V6 is 75 percent larger than what Willys was offering with their four-cylinder. Not only do you have a larger displacement, but also this motor inhales deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power as headers feed the dual exhaust. So you know this one has true extra muscle to make the most out of its go-anywhere 4x4 attitude. The rest is classic Jeep robustness - from the solid steel wheels to the strong chassis.

We all love the look of this military icon, and this one has been given all the right upgrades to be far more useful than just for nostalgia. So if you love the classic look and want real ability, call today!
