Car description |
---|
I picked this up as a barn find about three years ago without seat frames, seats, wheel/tires, etc.I have a considerable amount of time and money into it to get to this point.
Here are the details:
Clear title in hand.
The tires are brand new with less than 5 miles on them.
Seat covers are brand new.
Engine has good compression, starts and runs fine. Transmission shifts as expected.
Top is fair, but has some yellowing on the clear plastic, needs zipper repaired on passenger door window and has some tears near rivets. Does keep most rain out.
Body is decent. Rear floor pan has a sunken area, like something heavy was dropped on it at some point. You know, typical stuff.
Headlights, tail lights and turn signals all work now.
What remains:
When driving over 10mph, I can hear a sound that resembles a worn u-joint. I don't know if it is in one or more of the front axles or in the driveshaft itself.
As you can see from the photos, oil has been seeping from various areas underneath. I have no clue as to where it is actually coming from. No puddles on the ground, just seeping over time.
I made it to this point and got bit by the Dodge M37 bug, so this is where I stopped.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional photos.
I may be willing to arrange for shipping at buyer's expense, but I would prefer that buyer picks it up.
Thanks!
