HOW MANY OF THESE HAVE YOU EVER SEEN? My answer is none and I have been to lots of big car shows. WHAT IS IT? It is a 1923 Overland Willys pickup with a convertible top. I call this a Roadster pickup, "it has a convertible top and no roll up windows. HOW IS THE TITLE? Clear title in hand, it says the Make is Overland, the year 1923, the body PT for pickup truck and the Model touring. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? The truck was built in Toledo, Ohio and lived in southern Ohio. A older man did the restoration and modifications. HOW IS THE DRIVE TRAIN? Original front suspension, the engine-transmission-rearend are out of a 1988 Mustang. HOW IS THE ENGINE? The fit is very nice, its a 2300 CC the runs sweet, probably 3 time more horse power than the original. I hear no knocks or rattles and see no blue smoke. "TO ME THIS CAR HAS PENTY OF POWER"! HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting automatic out of the 1988 Mustang. HOW IS THE REAR END? Its also out of the Mustang, it has good highway gearing. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? They have been converted to a more modern hydraulic system. I consider the good. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? By 1923 standard it drive great. HEADLIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! ADDED TURN SIGNALS! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! WIPER WORKS! HORNS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GUAGE WORKS! HOW IS THE INTERIOR? It is good, the seat cover shows no wear. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it driver quality paint. It looks nice at a glance, but you can see some tiny flaws under critical inspection. HOW ABOUT RUST? I don't see any rust bubbles in the paint and the metal body looks solid. HOW IS THE WOOD BED? Nice bed, the builder had cabinet quality skills. HOW ARE THE TIRES? 18 inch tires that look new. The truck came with wood wheels and has been up grades to steel spoke rims, this is much better. The rims must be Overland because the hubcaps fit perfect. WHERE IS THE TRUCK LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
