This was going to be my forever Jeep, but priorities have changed and there's another vehicle I want more. This is a genuine CJV, Google if you are unfamiliar with them. No. 552 of 1000. No attempt has ever been made to restore or to make original. Goal was to have a reliable daily driver. Sadly, although it's started on a monthly basis, I've only driven it a couple of times short distances in the last year.
Over its lifetime it's had several engines in it from original to alum V8, Buick V6's, and now back to a flathead four. Runs and shifts as it should, does not jump out of gear and doesn't overheat. 4wd works as it should.
Because of all the different engines and transmissions over the years, the floors were cut up and now have been patched to be solid. A restoration would call for a new front floor panel. I do have the original gas tank that is specific to the CJV and is not reproduced. I also have the original military light switch.
Overall good Jeep. I've owned it for years. Sold as is, where is. If you have less than 10 feedback with negatives don't bid, I'll cancel it. NO EXCEPTIONS. I will accept a cashiers check but it must clear before vehicle leaves. Thanks.
