Car description

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS. PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 805-8O38 WITH ANY QUESTIONS. PLEASE HAVE YOUR FUNDS IN ORDER AND READ THE ENTIRE AD BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! This is a killer car right now. You can have fun with it like it sits or build your ultimate dreamHot Rodor race car the way you want it. It is a steel 1941 Willys Americar coupe. It is all steel with the exception of the decklid, which is glass. It is registered as a 1941 Willys and has a clean, clear title in hand. You see fiberglass kit cars all over the place. While they are cool in their own right and I also love a 1932 Ford Three Window, there is nothing cooler than a steel Willys coupe in the Hot Rodding world. The story on this car is thatmy buddy bought itabout three years ago with huge plans to build his take on what is the perfect tribute to The Gasser Wars of the 1960s. Huge plans, huge blower budgets, a mind numbing amount of straight axle induced insanity, lots of planned out metal flake paint schemes, mental checks written but not cashed, and three years later he has not had time to do absolutely anything to it. It has been in storage in his shop and started/moved occasionally, but that is it. The car runs strong. Sounds wicked.Itwas being driven weekly by the guy he bought it from. After three years indry storage,Iwould want to give it a goodonce over before putting it back on the street. It is a great car but I will say if you are looking for a pristine, untouched, unmolested, virgin bodied, Barn Find steel Willys coupe, THIS IS NOT IT!! The body is nearly ready for paint. No rust. It is in gray primer right now. The car is powered by a built 406 cubic inch small block Chevy with a Turbo350 automatic transmission. It has a Ford 9 inch rearend. It has four wheel disc brakes. 2x3 tube chassis, rack and pinion steering, A-arm front suspension with coil overs, Four bar rear suspension with coil overs in the rear, slicks mounted on vintage Indy slots. The interior is obviously pretty bare bones as they all are. Hurst shifter, Autometer gauges. We took the windshield out to get ready for paint and cracked it trying to re-install it but it is still there for a template to get a new one made. No side windows. Custom grill. All in all, this is a cool car that you could take in any direction you want. I am happy to talk to any serious buyers and try to answer any questions you have. That being said, I have zero interest in hearingidiots tell me about what a Willys expertthey are and filling my head withtheir vast wealth of knowledge.THIS IS NOT AN $80-100,000+ VIRGIN WILLYS!Please ask any questions that you have BEFORE you bid. My dog Johnny Cash would not be included in the sale for all of the money in the world. Inspections are encouraged. I am located in Solana Beach, California in North County Coastal San Diego. Thanks and good luck!
