Fuzzy Dice AutosHas up for auction a very desirable 1966 Willys Kaiser Jeepster 4 X 4 Commando in very nice original rust free condition. This neat vehicle came to us from a local gun smith who owned it for thirty years and only used it around his farm. He claims to have put less than 200 miles on the vehicle during that time frame. He mostly used it when the snow was too deep for his two wheel drive pick up.The body is in really nice solid condition. He always kept it in his barn and out of the weather. The under carriage is also rust free and very solid. The only rust appears on the lower portion of the inside rear window frame. Nothing that would interfere with the operation of the rear flip up window. The all around glass is very nice and the windows go up and down with ease. There isn't much of an interior. There is a split in the seam of the passenger seat. Otherwise the floors are perfectly solid and the dash is all there. The odometer cluster was changed some years ago so the true mileage is unknown. The previous owner seems to recall that it only had approximately 30 thousand miles on the meter that wasn't working when he switched it out. All the other gauges, ights, nd turn signals work as they should. There would be no reason for the vehicle not to pass any state inspection regulations. It ran through our repair shop where it underwent a complete safety and service checkThe period correct "Dauntless' Buick V6 225ci engine runs strong and quiet. The transmission and clutch operate smoothly. The vehicle drives straight, uiet, trong and stops on a dime. No leaks anywhere. This is one of those I hate to see leave. It's truly an attention get'r and very much fun to drive. Please don't hesitate to ask your questions and/or requests for additional photos.Best of luck bidding!
