Car description |

1983 Volvo 244 DL
Manufactured in Sweden sometime in 1983 and imported to the U.S. The car is still in very good condition for its age. Being made in Sweden the car was built like a Swiss watch. The car handles amazing and is very controllable and once driven this concept is very easily understood. Once in the seat and with the doors closed and hands on the steering wheel driving this car is a walk back in time!
About the mechanical condition on this car:
The car starts right up, runs, drives, and has plenty of life left in it. This car has never sat for a long period of time and has been very well maintained.
The odometer lags and currently states that the millage is 95,733 miles. A good estimate of the actual miles can be around 140,000.
The transmission has a small leak and it is a good idea to add the correct fluid every once in a while.
The car has a current inspection until July 2019. -Shortly after the car inspection the car developed a small exhaust leak that can be easily fixed. (check the photos)
The car needs one of the brake rotors replaced, I never investigated to see which rotor was bad*
The radio works good and sounds good.
The air conditioner has been converted to r-134A
All interior/exterior lights work
Conclusion:Its a great car and it breaks my heart to let her go. I'm selling this car in order to collect money for college. Happy bidding and I hope you enjoy this car just as much as I have.
