This here is my 1981 Volvo 242. I have had over half a dozen of these cars and I hate to see it go but I just don't have the time to work on it and I figure it is better off with someone else who will have the time. My father tells me I will regret getting rid of this car but I don't want to see it sit any longer. I bought it with a bad fuel pump, I took a gamble and said it was the high pressure in-line pump underneath the car, turns out it was the low pressure in-tank pump. I also did a fuel filter, air filter, new fuel, plugs, wires, battery etc to try to get it going. It cranks and I have seen it run and drive, but it will not start at the moment. I got caught up with work and was forced to just wash it and put it away in storage. Sorry I don't have any better pictures, this was the picture from the day I bought it but I can assure you the car looks exactly the same, if not cleaner than in the photo. The car has 45k original miles. It was an old ladies car originally until she passed away and they found it in her garage. The interior is immaculate. Everything is original and I believe I have all the center caps laying around somewhere. I will try to get more photos! For now at least the ad is up. Hopefully one of you Volvo guru's can give this thing the love it deserves and keep one more classic on the road. Feel free to ask any questions. Joseph. Thanks for looking!
