1993 Volvo 240 97K Original Miles Excellent Condition

Let me start by saying I’m a retired Master Volvo technician after 35 years. I bought this car about 7 years ago for my wife from the original owner. I have been servicing this car since it was new. I jumped at the opportunity to purchase this car when the owner said she wanted to sell, knowing how clean and well maintained it was. When I purchased this car it only had a little over 87K miles on it. After 7 years my wife only put an additional 10K on it. She doesn’t drive anymore since I retired, so it's time to sell and get down to one vehicle.

Now for the car. I don’t think you will find another Volvo 240 with this low mileage and in this condition. It starts right up, runs and drives excellent. I would not hesitate to take this car on a nice long drive.This car is rust, dent and scratch free, with original paint. The interior is even cleaner than the exterior. I also just had it detailed inside and out. I’ve changed the oil and filter twice a year that I’ve owned it. I just changed the timing belt, tensioner and front engine seals last summer(had a very slight oil leak). The tires are good with 6/32 left on them, I’m also including a set of snow tires mounted on steel wheels. And there are no leaks.

There is an auto start installed, however it’s not working at this time. I have all the books and manual for it in the glove box.

The interior is near perfect, I don’t think anyone has ever sat in the back seat. It comes with carpeted and plastic tray mats. The door pockets are even intact. Instrument cluster is original and all gauges work perfectly. No cracks in the dash. The power mirror switches work, but are a little finicky at times, I would have replaced them, but couldn’t find new ones. The a/c even blows cold.
