1984 240 Volvo Wagon Diesel Manual Transmission w/ overdrive 6 cyl diesel OEM

Update:Just test drove the car as it was sitting for a bit. Bakes are very stiff and need work, after driving a bit they returned, hence the price drop of $700. Sorry for any confusion.
This is a great and rare car. Runs and drives well with excellent economy. VW designed industrial motor was original to this car when assembled in Sweden. Most things work as they should. Notable exceptions being, indicator light for overdrive although it is obvious when it engages. Heater only works on the upper dash, no foot heat. Clock no longer keeps time. Original fuel enrichment device for start up has been deleted, not needed in my climate. Also has a brake failure light on occasionally, apparently common on these. Valve cover gasket leaks a bit. Like most older cars could use a few small things. Also available locally for sale so will delete this if it sells. Sold as is.
Hitch and wiring work great and tows like a truck. Has some upgraded suspension parts. Heavy duty tires. Thanks for looking.
