Car description |
---|
1992 Volvo 240 wagon. Awesome reliable car, ons of space, reatcharacter. This has been my daily driver for the last year and a half as well as a fun "practical project", ut thanks to a new job I no longer have the time to tinker with my car and must part with it.The Good:
- Both front seats have been redone. Old foam removed and new put in fromwagonmeister.com. No more saggy seats! While I was at it I also added heated seat elements, ut they have not been wired up yet. I then recovered the seats with newvinylfrom these folks.
- Spent most of its life in California and Oregon.
- Block heater installed.
- New spark plugs and wires.
- Brakes done 2014.
- Fuel Injectorsprofessionallycleaned.
- Exhaust system (everything behind the catalytic converter) replaced.
- New rear speakers (JBL GTO638 6.5-Inch)- no more OEM cardboard speakers.
- New headlights with clean, n-foggy glass.
- Virgo 15" turbo wheels with newer tires (one year old).
- Also come with a set of stud-less winter tires on 14" rims. Used one seaon.
- Clearcoat on paint is failing. This is a common problem with this color of paint.
- Driver's side rear trailing arm has a crack and will need to be replaced eventually.
- Rear seat headrests are missing.
- Small tear in rear seat.
- AC does not work. I have not bothered to look into the reason.
- Rear passenger-side electric window motor does not work.
- Odometer is working and shows 160k-ish miles, ut based on repair records I have found actual mileage looks to be about 215k. The odometer on these cars is know to fail and must have been replaced at some point.
