Original two owner car (second owner was a close friend of the first and owned car for over 25 years). Garaged and very well maintained. Clear title. No rust.
Exterior — Very good condition. Straight body. No dents, ut when looked at closely there are scratches or dings on most panels. None of the imperfections are glaring. The chrome is a bit dull in a few areas, ut overall it looks very good. Original windshield (very small chip) and glass. Paint shines nicely. Car was NOT detailed prior to sale—new owner will likely be able to get much more out of paint and chrome with a little effort.
Interior — Very good to good condition. There is a small split in the drivers seat, ne at the top of the rear seat, nd two small tears in the headliner. Temperature gauge in dash does not work, ut there is a functional aftermarket one below the dash. There is no radio, ut aftermarket speakers are on the rear parcel shelf (I don't know the story behind this one). Original seat belts, looring, teering wheel. Has aftermarket dash pad and carpet kit. Car has maintained traditional aroma consistent with Volvos of this era.
Mechanical — Upgraded B20 engine (popular swap for 122s and 544s of this vintage) with Weber carburetor. Car cranks quickly, dles smoothly, nd runs smoothly in each gear under most conditions. There is a very slight sputter at sustained part throttle that goes away with increased throttle. Clutch and transmission perform well, nd car brakes strongly and in a straight line. All lights and turn signals work, s do windshield wipers. Tires are in good shape. Horn does not blow.
This Volvo was cherished by its former owners and its condition illustrates the point. It has not been abused in any way and is ready to drive immediately. There are records that will come with the car, hough they are not complete from 1965. However, he original order sheet is present, s is a letter confirming the manufacturer's processing of the order addressed to the original owner. Car also has mileage 100,000 and 200,000 mileage badges awarded by Volvo, nd Volvo Club of France markings from it's short stint in that country very early in it's life. Vietnam Veteran front license plate that is present in some photos has been removed and does not come with car.
This Volvo has covered about 450 miles in last calendar year and has not missed a beat. It has been listed locally off and on, riven to our local Caffeine and Octane event, nd even made an appearance in Jim Perry's "P and B Motorsports - Vintage Volvo Racing" blog after running into him at this year's Walter Mitty Races at Road Atlanta this spring.

As mentioned, his Volvo is not perfect, ut it has been loved and brings smiles, ompliments, nd conversation every time it is driven.
