1979 Arizona Volkswagen Hollywood Addition Bug

1979 Volkswagen Hollywood addition originally white on white on white. Stripped to bare metal and repainted pearl white in 2000. Showing very good. New interior including seats top carpet door panels in 2001 Doug is third owner of this life time Arizona car. 25 years owned by Doug. Motor and trans axle rebuilt in 2011 by Competition Engineering in Phoenix Arizona at a cost of over $10,000, ompetition Engineering would be more than happy to talk with any serious buyer. The current displacement is 2218. The current original miles are a documented 131500.

Condition of the car:

Exterior-After many years of ownership the car was stripped to bare metal in 2000. The new paint scheme is White and Silver. The paint shows very well. The car is always garaged, nd detailed regularly. There is a small dent the size of quarter on the front passenger fender. If you blow up picture number 93 you can slightly see it. It is very small. The paint has minor imperfections but shows very well.

Interior and top-There is a small crack in the dash to the right of the speedometer. The steering wheel is wood, ut it is cracked. The seats are in great shape with minor wear to the bolsters. The headliner has come lose below the glass back window. The top is in excellent shape, nd functions well. The top was replaced in 2004 along with the interior seats, oor panels, nd carpet.

Engine Compartment- 2218 Competition Engineering in Phoenix built the motor. Very clean engine. Starts and ruins great. Very strong motor. Fuel injection works very well and the airbox was just replaced.

Chassis/Pan- Rust free accident free Pan.

Trunk- Perfect original paint absolutely no rust

This bug is a well documented meticulously maintained rust free life time Arizona car. The motor pulls hard in every gear. Dependable in extreme heat and cold.
