1956 / 1960 VW Beetle

1956 body on a 1960 Chassis. Title is clear for 1960 Chassis. Body is very solid, only one spot of rust shown in pics. Floors, door posts, spare tire well, battery tray, heater channels all rust free and solid! Doors and fenders are 1960 as well. Two holes were cut in the dash for gauges long ago, but otherwise the dash is original. This car is not all original and I do not have any of the original drive train.

This car comes with 2 engines, both are very young (few hundred miles each) 1776cc & 1835cc and in very good shape. The engine in the car runs and drives well, but hasn't been driven in about two years. I gave it a battery and fuel last week and it started right up! The extra engine was professionally built, but has an oil leak near the cooler.

Mechanically restored with completely new brake system, new wiring, new tires, POR floor pans, sealed and repaired transmission (stays in reverse now!), and more about 5 years ago. I drove the car to a few shows and races after I got it running reliably, but life got busy and I don't have the time or space for the car anymore. I have owned it since 1992 in Colorado.
Also included is my high quality parts stash! Extra front end, lots of intakes and carbs, dual port cylinder heads, and much more. I've owned 20 or so Beetles over the years and this is my last one, you get all the parts!
I have more pictures and will be glad to answer any questions. This car is great fun and gets lots of looks and comments! Gets a trophy at every VW car show, usually oldest or "diamond in the rough"!
Car is for sale locally as well, so I may end the auction early if someone buys it.
