Barn Find. Purchased the Volks 12 years ago, drove it two summers and pulled in the garage in 2009. Replaced the interior to vibrant red and it sat, covered and heated until this year. It is time to find a new steward. We changed the fuel, oil and battery. Turns over and runs on starting fluid. Possible clogged fuel filter. Passed state inspection when garaged but I am sure it will need items to bring it safe. Body was freshly painted white before we bought it and all panels are straight and true. The top has a repaired tear and could be replaced. We never had it up while we had fun with it in the sun. 1976 was the last year for the German coupe version. The convertible continued until 1979. The engine is fuel injected was last tuned before garaging. If you are bidding on this vehicle, please watch the auction closely. We monitor suspected spam accounts and cancel the bids.
