1990 Syncro Vanagon with ALH Turbo Diesel 186K approximate milage on the frame and body 122K miles on the ALH Motor (these are approximate based on previous seller info) I don’t have time to finish this project. I purchased this Syncro Vanagon a little over a year ago and went to work on a solid starter vehicle. But, sadly I won’t get to enjoy this rig as I’ve not driven it that much. The Sycnro TDI was converted before I purchased the vehicle from a shop in Oregon. Paint has some bubbles near the rear window and bumper apronNewer TiresNew marker lightsThe bad...Has a few electrical bugs to work out from the ALH conversion (vehicle operates as it should but needs some tweaking to make perfect)...Odometer is not calibrated correct speed on the swapped Golf Dash Cluster (comes with new Dakota Digital Converter)...Passenger Side Electric window switch not functional...Check engine light in dash does not correspond with ECU (but has functional OBDII) Needs a tune (see above electrical tweaks)...There is a vacuum leak or faulty N75 turbo valve that cuts the turbo out, you can restart the vehicle and it functions correctly (common over boost issue with ALH motors...just don't have time to fix it)...Because of the vacuum leak the lockers are not engaging, you can manually apply vacuum and the lockers and decoupler workThere is a factory hole in the passenger fender for an aftermarket fuel filler that was removed and not replaced.The AC needs chargedThis is a list of the known condition of the vehicle to the best of my abilities.
