This Weekender has been locally owned in the Livermore, CA and maintained by Master mechanic Detlev Hanschke at International Auto for the last 10 Years and previous owner has never been left stranded.This Camper is ready for the road and does not need any repairs for trips down the coast or up to the sierras.
The Good:- Well Maintained and clean 1.9l Waterboxer driven only 7,000 Miles in the last 8 Years!!!!- Like New Camper pop top canvas- Door panels Original and like new besides one little rip on driver door- Heater Core Complete rebuild, sealed and blows nice hot air.- New Front and Middle section floor mats (Black)- Complete new upholstery inside vehicle (see pictures)- Rear quarter panel reflectors- All new Cupholders installed in complete Van total of 5- New Door Handles & Door gribs- Driver & Passenger Window seals replaced, chrome delete
Completed in 2012:- Original Brake hoses have been replaced- Transmission oil Service including Lubing all shift linkages
Completed in 2013:- Fuel Pressure Regulator replaced- New Fuel Tank- New Fuel Pump- New Radiator
Completed in 2014:- Valve Clearance adjustment- Clutch Replacement- Replaced Cross arm including Bushings during Clutch Replacement- Resurface Flywheel- New Clutch Slave Cylinder
Completed in 2016:- Alternator Rebuilt- Coolant Flush
Completed in 2018:- Complete Motor oil change with Liqui Moly Mos2 Motor oil

Could use attention:Front Bushings seem to be original and would need to be replaced.Minor Exhaust leak
Every Van has a different feel and not one drives like the other!! This VW Van really coasts down the road and loves to be driven. It has a great stable and reliable feel to it when driving, shifting, braking and especiallycamping anywhere!!!
