Car description |

Hey there folks! I am selling this vintage 1959 VW Beetle barn find. It's a '59, with matching numbers under the hood and inside, and a '63 number for the engine. It's a ragtop sunroof model, so it would be a killer restoration project or good parts for your restoration. The body is original with the exception of the driver side door. It needs some work, but with some time and energy put in, this would be a fantastically rare and beautiful car. As you can see, this is a classic barn find car. There is NO title - you will get a bill of sale ONLY!
A pack-rat was living in it, and left his mark with some droppings. There are plenty of rust holes in the usual spots. Original 5 lug rims, which is really cool, and the dash is un-cut and includes the original radio. Original bumpers are also there, they need straightened and re-chromed, but they're the real deal. The original seats are also included; the filler is shot, and was a pack-rat home, but the frames are still there - rusty but usable.
Take a look at the pics, and please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I am very happy to answer anything I can. I've uploaded a gallery with a LOT of pics so please examine and ask questions as you need.
I do not have a title, I bought it from a farmer a long while back, and never got around to getting a title. It's easy to do here in Colorado, so look into your state's requirements if you intend to title it. I will leave you with a bill of sale only.
As far as shipping and payment goes, a deposit of 200$ within 2 days is required, and full payment at or before pickup. Please pickup within 3 weeks. Weekends are great, and occasional Monday's work for me, but I can work with you or your shipper with enough warning. I am located in Pueblo Colorado, which is 45 minutes south of Colorado Springs, or 1 hour 45 minutes south of Denver, Colorado.
Thank you for looking at my auction. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Good Luck!!
