1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle 4 speed manual great patina on this super solid Bug. New Cooper tires all around 195 65 15 rear and 175 65 15 front. New Top line adjustable lowering struts, springs, and lowered sway bar. Front disc brake conversion and rebuilt rear drum brakes. I love the way it looks so I went through the brakes and suspension to make it handle good and be safer. It’s a super honest body because it has not been painted or touched in over 10 years. Previous owner stripped all the undercoating off so you can see all the metal clearly. He painted it red over 10 years ago and it shrunk and cracked leaving dark blue previous color showing. Looks like antique furniture I’ve seen. Easily could be restored but we liked it this way. I just wiped boiled linseed oil on the outside one a year to keep it protected and give it a low gloss sheen. It had the roof rack so I bought an old surfboard to complete the look. Previous owner said the motor was redone about 5 years ago but had no paperwork. It runs good but could use a good detail and repaint tins, maybe new exhaust. I was contemplating a Subaru swap originally but I have way too many cars and decided to let this one go. Delivery in the north east can be discussed.
