NO RESERVE!! Will NOT end early! Must be HIGHEST BIDDER at the END to buy my Camper!!
Camper! 1982 VW Westfalia Camper Vanagon whatever you want to call it, just know It is the ultimate of them all! This camper will not disappoint! For starters, the mechanics have been completely overhauled. This sweet little vanagon started its life as a diesel, but the smaller 1.6 liter has been thrown to the waste side to drop in its place, a 1.9 liter turbo diesel! Not only do we have a much more efficient motor, but we have installed an extra-large gas tank to not replace the original, but add to it! That’s right, two gas tanks connected together so you only have to fill through one neck! This bus gets upwards of 40 miles to the gallon, and with the two tanks, This Vanagon has become the ultimate highway machine! I thought the gas gauge was broken the first trip I took, it’s that efficient! She does have Heat and defrost that work very well, no A/C currently. As you can clearly see, she has disc brakes up front, drums in the rear, and has an upgraded set of 18†wheels and tires. All of the exterior lights work as they should, and don’t worry, if you are not into the bright colored LEDs around the headlights/foglights, they are all remote controlled. You can have them stay on if you enjoy them, or never have them come on if you’re a sour puss. Completely kidding, this will be your bus, you do what you want! The exterior LEDs are all controlled via Bluetooth, with an app on your phone. (I will show you!) Once downloaded, its super easy to control or rotate between colors, chasing patterns, over 200 assorted arrangements, or even have dancing to the music you are playing! As for the interior LEDs, they are controlled by a physical remote you see pictured below. One remote controls the lighting around the pop up camper, and the smaller remote, controls the two bulbs in the rear dome lights above the rear seat. The Radio has been upgraded to a nice Clarion CD player, with upgrade Kenwood speakers all around. There is a flip down TV on the headliner that connects to the DVD player in the cabinet behind the driver’s seat. The upholstery in the Camper has been completely overhauled with a much Later VW automotive Plaid. This newer Fabric is UV and solar protected, and will never fade like all the old VW campers. This vanagon has the rare quick latch, removable rear jump seat, and the bolstered rear seat, that lies down to make a bed. The pop up canvas is original to the Bus, and has zero holes or wear spots. It might be slightly faded as expected by any original canvas, but works flawlessly and has the nice three window zip down screens to get a ton of cross breeze, without the worry of bugs! The rear hatch also has the original bug screen that snaps into place when parked and opened. Inside the large interior cabinet you will see a large green awning. That awning slides into a track outside the passenger side roof, and suspends tightly on the opposite side by two large poles in the ground. The poles store nicely in the bus as well. There is also a brand new outdoor carpet/mat that fits perfectly under the awning when attached. The “wood†flooring in the bus, is just a floating vinyl floor that is cut and trimmed perfectly to fit. The original linoleum floor is actually in great condition under it, but the wood looks way better! The jump seat is still just as easy to remove, and all the cabinet doors open without issue. We did delete the original Fridge with a Go-Westy delete kit, for more storage, but the stove top and sink are still intact. Under the rear seat is a jack kit, brand new water hose, propane filling adaptors, lots of new parts still in boxes, misc items, and seat belts too! The seat belts are all installed and working order. You will see on the side of the bus, you have electric shore power hook up, you have a hose hookup to drain the sink, and you have a water hook up to fill your water tank. The round chrome trim above the three fittings is an exhaust vent for the propane stove top. Both Fronts seats are mounted on swivels that can turn 360 degrees; Super nice when camping or just hanging out and want to face people in the rear seat! One or maybe some of the previous owners had installed the maps and stickers all over the headliner above the front seats. I didn’t have it in me to cover up the past, and really thought it gave this old girl some character and memorabilia about where she has been, or wants to go! So I left it alone! Anyway, this bus is one hundred percent turn-key and ready to camp, ready to hit the highway, ready to show off, ready for whatever you want to do with her, or in her. You will not be disappointed, and you will absolutely get thumbs up, waved at, pointed at, or just get a ton of smiles! I swear this bus brings pure joy to everyone who sees it, and if you are not into attention or like being talked to, do not buy this camper! If there is anything you would like to know, or have any questions whatsoever, feel free to reach out to me anytime during this auction, and if you are close or want to come see it, please do so! This Auction is NO RESERVE; I 100% will sell this 1982 Custom Westfalia to the highest bidder at the end of the auction. I will not pull off Ebay early. Be confident that I will honor Ebay rules, and I except the same from you! I am not wasting anyone’s time here, so please do not waste mine bidding if you do not intend to buy, if you do not have the funds in hand, or if you have not checked with your partner first. With that said, HAPPY BIDDING! Brand New green Awning, never been used! Green Awning slides into this track, and the Poles hold up the side away from Camper. Brand new outdoor fold up mat, fits perfectly under awning when installed! Bug net snaps onto rear of Camper when the hatch is open! Rear window delete Hatch. I have never seen another done. As you can see from rear, no hack job or rotten welding! Super clean! Fire suppression fluid installed on top of engine hatch to extinguish any spark, that might try to start a fire! Camper has two Batteries, and this is switch to kill them both, run off one, or run off both! Yellow Top Optima battery! Super expensive, but totally worth it! Has never ran dead on me! Very rare center Air duct running fresh are through dash down vent between seats and blows out behind the front seats! Shifter is coming through the plastic air duct that lays overtop the carpet down center of bus! Silly amounts of keys, but got keys for everything on the Camper! Ha Super Large Second Gas Tank Connected to the original! You won’t ever run low!! The Large water tank lid, if you un screw you can see the inside of the fresh water tank, and get to the electric pump for the sink. Power Inverter hooked to the accessory yellow top battery, you can run the dvd player power up anything you need the run 120v to! Took a picture of the poles that hold up the child hammock over the front seats to show they are original! Thanks for Checking all the photos out! If you want to see anything else or want a picture of anything, just reach out to me and I will get it to you! Good luck bidding, you will absolutely LOVE this VW!
