The Volkswagen Corrado proved to be the HIGHEST APPRECIATING CLASSIC CAR FOR 2019, increasing by a whopping 46%, as noted by a study conducted by Hagarty Insurance Group, the #1 collector car insurer in the world. You are catching this car right at the moment where it is taking off in collector desirability and value, but before prices get out of hand. Read the article for yourself here:

This supercharged G60 5-speed is for the sports compact enthusiast looking for something incredibly rare, unique for its time, totally original, and unmolested (by untalented hacks with no taste!) As vintage BMWs and Porsches skyrocket in value beyond the means of average enthusiasts, NOW is the time to acquire one of these cool and rare German hot hatchbacks, as they are a rapidly increasing collectible that is still affordable, and have a ton going for them for the price. The buyer I seek wants a classic German tuner car, in the rarest color and with unique looks, and is not just looking to drive something cheap into the ground. If you're that kind of buyer, read on.
Summary of this car's PROS and CONS, including a walkaround video of the car at the link below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B2JkRchvR0&t=6s
PROS:
* 100% Original Car, down to the wheels, stereo, logo floor mats, etc. Never modified or abused (this is huge!)
* Very nice body, and paint this is smooth, even and deep. No rust, and no body damage beyond normal wear on a 30 year old car.
* Clean interior. Nice upholstery, carpets, dash, etc.* Runs and drives very well. Cruises at 80 mph smoothly. Always starts, good clutch, brakes, shifts smooth, likes to rev.* Recently spent $500 repairing motor mounts and catalytic converter
* Brand new tires all around.
CONS:
* Supercharger works great but a bearing is making noise--will eventually need a rebuild. Rebuilt units are available, and are located up front and on top, making them easy to get to.
* Interior needs some light TLC. Overhead console, passenger door panel, & few minor pieces need work.
* One headlight is out.
* Minor exhaust rattle.
* AC is non-op/needs recharged.* Sunroof electrics work, but need some adjustment, as I've not been able to operate roof consistently.
I also have a driving video of the car for those who are interested. Inquire for the link.
This is not some POS that's been wrecked from one end to the other, or has a rattle can paint job and a new set of tires. It's a solid foundation, on a 100% original, unmolested car, that isn't rusty, with a clean, straight body and nice paint. Yes, it does need some attention in other areas to take it to the next level, but that has been reflected in the price. If you are expecting a fully-restored show car, please look elsewhere. It does NOT need the things that are most expensive when restoring a car, meaning it does NOT need rust repair, body or paint work! While not perfect, it also hasn't been abused or trashed, and just needs someone to give it some weekend love. Would make a great cruise night car/track car/weekend cruiser, or easy father/son/daughter project car that can be driven and enjoyed while you work on it.
I will already be losing significantly on this car over my own acquisition costs, so please save us both the time and keep dumb offers to yourself.
And now for the obligatory TERMS OF SALE:

I can help with shipping arrangements through a trusted carrier I use, but all shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
