Used as a California beach car, then brought and stored inside in Tennessee a few years back. I acquired it in 2017, got it going and drove it around a bit. I then changed job responsibilities and as a result it has sat in my garage for the past 2 1/2 years. You are purchasing it as is sitting in my garage. See pictures for the best description but this is a very solid example of a 1973 VW Thing. It is not a perfect restoration or in “show†condition, but it is one to be proud to own and drive with a smile and the secret to happiness that comes with owning this vehicle. It did run very well went last used but after sitting so long you are buying it “As-Is†and with all flaws and faults. Overall this is a very solid Thing. The floor has been patched with steel but is solid. Miles are actual, including the 1776 dual carb build. The top has some rips and could use replacing if you want. It functions properly. There is a small rust spot on one of the doors the size of a nickel. This is a far better than average 1973 VW Thing. See pictures for the best description.
