Description
This 1961 Volkswagen Type 2 is a 15-Window Bus featuring a walk-through cabin and finished in Pearl White and Turquoise Green. A cosmetic refurbishment was performed in the 1980s, and a 1,915cc flat-four and 4-speed Freeway Flyer gearbox have been installed more recently. Other features included lowered suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, widened steel wheels, period accessories, and further upgrades. New whitewall tires and a pair of Weber carburetors from CB Performance were installed in 2018, and recent service also included a tune-up, valve adjustment, and oil change.
