I have an '81 VW Rabbit Pickup.Less than 111,000 miles.Diesel 5 Speed, includes a nice Leer Protector topper and a good amount of spare parts.
Remanufactured starter & solenoid installed 2 days ago.I haven't had it run very well yet... but it turns over very well. Tightened alternator belt, plugged in block heater and might try push starting it tomorrow.
Includes a used radiator & fan, and all the parts pictured (besides the starter solenoid)
Engine bay is pretty clean, everything is intact and nearly rust free. No windshield cracks. Few cracks in dash. Interior is fairly clean, original and well kept for an older car, original driver floor carpet and seat is rough.
Has Firestone Weatherforce tires, lots of tread in fair shape.Original tailgate is rough but includes a custom replacement.
Located in Helena, MT and buyer is responsible for arranging shipping or picking up.Notarized lien free MT title included.-The new (include packing list and grease) Prothane parts are kit 22-2008 (although it has part #22-201 instead of 22-901).-new box of Silverline rod bearings-10 other new larger bearings-set of similar year BMW (not sure) 15 by 7 inch rims-Sunpro volt, Sunpro oil psi, Iequus water temp. Gauges are Used never tested, as is.-2 spare handles/locks with chrome but No Keys-horn and quartz dash clock work-(only included if you want them) 6 various rough to fair but useful steelies with rough old tires
-windows roll up & down well-white paint is still shiny, not original and looks good in most areas. The black you see is a spray in bed line material that has held up pretty well
-the diamond plate along each side of the bed seems to be quality material and install-has 2 door keys and 1 ignition.-The timer below the ashtray is not connected to anything. Not sure what it is there for.
