Hello everyone!
My name is Ryan and I am currently selling my 1969 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Bus. I purchased the vehicle fully restored on Ebay from Ventura, California back in November of 2018. Since then, I've put a lot of work into making this beauty a more reliable machine. I had a new engine built from the ground up, several mechanical upgrades, and meticulously changed the oil every 2000 miles. I'm selling this bus for what I've put into the restoration and feel the time has come to pass the experience on to someone else. I have a second vehicle and no longer feel the need to have two.
Heres a short list of the mechanical and miscellaneous work that's been done in the past year:
• New tires and brakes
• New front steering rods
• New steering column
• New wheel bearings
• Mike Allan of Allan's Automotive in Boise, Idaho rebuilt a 1641cc Dual Carb Motor from the ground up. The current motor now has 11,514 original miles on it and purrs like a kitten
• I had an oil temperature gauge installed in the dashboard for those hot days when you need to know how hot your engine is running
• New exhaust pipe
• New floor mats
• New mirrors
• New white vinyl door panels
• Installed the "Continental" Westfalia Top Bed
• Installed a more current CD player with AUX hookup
• Internal LED ceiling lights. Multi color controlled
• Black canvas blinds, back window, side windows, and front
• Weather cover• New throttle cable
Other key points:• Mostly original parts• California Bus• Limited surface rust underneath. Very solid frames• Rusted front floor panels removed and replaced with new ones
Feel free to reach out with any questions or for more photos and I will be happy to help.
