I purchased this VW van not to long ago, my kids have been wanting me to buy one and fix it up. They wanted the sunroof as well as me to lower it and other misc. Anyways I have several restored vehicles / or older vehicles. I don't know a lot about VW', this one was for sale in Minnesota . According the guy I purchased it from that worked with a facility that helped Alcohol and Drug Addicts. His friend that was in his 70's was ill and donated some things along with the van to that facility. He said the van was sitting in his garage since 1996 and it ran and drove when it was parked. Anyways, I purchased the van with the intentions of working on it. I found a different one that a friend of a friend has. The engine is freed, I have not tried running it yet. The van is pretty much complete and original. As you can see in the pictures there is rust, Dents, scratches!. I think the worst part is the spots on the floor by the front doors where you step in. There were a couple other small spots on the floor but the rest of it is solid. I guess that is pretty common for these van otherwise you can see the picture. There are dent, dings and scratches. The van has just over 84,000 original miles. I have a great rating and feedback, any questions please ask! This van is being sold as is where is do to its age and condition! I recommend an in person inspection.
