Car description |

First off it's a 1980 Aircooled
FULLY rebuilt motor with stamp on block only 4000 miles on it from my trip to Yellowstone.
The interior has full size custom fold out bed, along with rare camper model cabinet from the 1980 model campers.
There has been a TON of work done over the years of owning the van, here is a list of the few.
Exterior:
-Yakima Roof Rack with Awning mounted on the side and Yakima Roof Box
-All 4 shocks are new and have less then 5000 miles on them
-New rear hatch struts
-New sliding door handle (prone to snap when old)
-Led halo Headlights
-Westfalia 14" wheels with new Hankook Tires
-Bumpers painted truck bed liner
Mechanical:
-Starter was also replaced with the motor
-Brand new clutch and slave cylinder
-Complete brake system refresh with booster, master, pads, rotors/hubs
-Complete gas tank reseal with new fuel level sender
-Cylinder Head Temp gauge installed next to speedometer
-New speedo cable
Interior:
-Custom fitted Dodge Caravan seats, fully fold down flat and are very comfortable
-Custom made rear seat/bed wrapped in brown with flake upholstery. Full size bed
-Custom made curtains that keep the van very dark when camping
-2 USB ports for 3 amp quick charge
-Bluetooth stereo along with Rockford Fosgate speakers. Sounds amazing
-Fold out center console with 4 cup holders and small table spot
Those are the bigger things done to the van. Overall a super solid camper/daily. Has been my daily for over a year. With the smaller 14" westfalia wheels sold with the van it actually can go 80 mph if you really wanted it to. Cruises at 70 all day. Average of 18mpg.
Cons:
-Muffler is rusted out, has a little rattle to it at idle
-Notorious vanagon window seam rust on the back mainly, has small spot on the passenger side but overall not bad and doesn't leak
Thats it! The van is super awesome and you won't find any other with this color. The van was originally yellow and was painted the teal at some point way back. Some yellow peaks through in places which I think looks cool.
The van treated me well over the years I just would like to move to a new build!
