Car description |
---|
I have a clean CA title under my name for this vehicle. Registration is past due and the late fees add up to $690 (you don't have to pay these fees if buying and registering out of CA). This car is being sold as a parts car but is a worthy candidate for restoration. I encourage any potential buyers to see this car in person before placing a bid or buying this vehicle.
Backstory- This vehicle has been garaged for many years. It was a project that I bought while in high school and it stayed in my fathers garage out of town. He is a mechanic and worked on getting the car running. The head gasket was replaced several years ago and the car was running. However, my father discovered the gas tank had rust inside. The car also needed new tires and I had ripped the headliner and carpet out and POR 15 was applied to the inside floorboards. At this point, I did not have money or the motivation to finish this project and so it remained in my fathers garage until now. He is retiring and so I need to sell this vehicle.
Issues- It has minimal surface rust and paint fading (Pics of the interior are not surface rust, this is glue from the headliner and carpet). There are a few pinholes of rust on the rocker panels. The headliner is gone and so is the sunroof. Also missing the stereo. Will need new tires and new battery and tune up to get running again.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions. Thank you.
