Meet Kermit, my 1971 VW baywindow bus. Runs and drives and is ready for new adventures with his next person!
Kermit enjoys fun trips up and down the Pacific Coast Highway and also going camping.
He has been featured in the Yung Pinch x Gashi music video Wink Emoji 😉 the filming of which he enjoyed very much. He especially liked the Spicoli scene where they all come tumbling out of the bus. https://youtu.be/WUxqV1lBSNI
Kermit has 4 cylinders, dual carburetors, and the engine size is most likely 1700 per the mechanic. Body has been fully restored and most of the rubber window seals have been replaced. Interior vent / heater does not work, and the speedometer recently stopped working.
Kermit is ready for camping trips with a sink that dispenses from a water canister stored in the bench seat and which drains to outside. He has a dual battery camping setup, and a Bluetooth stereo system with front and rear speakers and remote. He also has plenty of overhead LED lights to illuminate your evening when hanging out playing cards at the table and drinking whiskey. Custom beech headliner. Wide plank white oak flooring with waxed finish. Custom cabinet with pallet board doors and leather pulls. When you are ready to retire, there is a cozy bed for two people, surrounded by full privacy curtains.
