1972 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper
1972 was a unique year, it was the last year of the early style "low" turn signals in the front, and the first year of the bigger later style taillight. Some say the is the perfect year, because you have bigger and safer taillights but keep the more desirable front end. This bus would have come with the 1.7L Type 4 Engine but has been replace with the bigger 2.0L. So, you're going to have a bit more power then stock. It also comes with hydraulic lifters so you won't have to worry about adjusting the valves.
Car was painted by previous owner, it is by no means is a "show car" paint job. But none the less still looks good. Recently put on a set of rebuilt Weber 40 IDFs along with a bunch of new parts. Here's a list of some
- Rebuilt Weber 40s
- Fresh tune up: New spark plugs, cap, rotor and oil change
- New alternator
- New Ignition module
- New Valve Cover Gaskets
- New taillight assemblies
- New Pop top seals
- Electronic ignition
- New curtains
Most work was done by Ovals Motorsports in Milton WA and I have all the receipts
Only problem with the bus is that the pop-up canopy has been ripped out and will need to be replaced if you want the use the feature of the bus.
