This Devin is believed to be an early prototype built on a Volkswagen pan and equipped with a VW 1,100cc flat-four and 4-speed manual transaxle. This example was acquired by the seller approximately four years ago and is titled as a 1951 Volkswagen Deluxe. The car has been sitting for some time, and included photographs in the gallery capture the overall condition. This non-running Devin project is now offered for sale at no reserve on a bill of sale in Tucson, Arizona with literature and registration documents from the 1950s and '60s.
Founded by former racing driver Bill Devin, Devin Enterprises was primarily known for its fiberglass body-kit conversions that were manufactured from 1955 to 1964.
