Car description

(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) 1979 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this clean and highly original classic Bug. This car is originally from La Jolla, California, owned... by the first owner until 2003, when our client purchased it and brought it to Michigan. 1979 marked the final year of production for the classic beetle, making this example highly sought after. Right before acquisition 15 years ago, the original owner had the car completely restored by a professional shop in San Diego with 58,900 original miles on the clock. In 15 years of ownership, our client has put less than 10k miles on the car, and has always had it routinely maintained. We have extensive service records (see photos) from Holland Imports. Latest tune up was a full tune-up, seals and gaskets replaced, brakes, belts, and hoses. Also has brand new tires. The car is finished in factory original Alpine White with white seats and a white convertible top. All finishes remain in excellent condition with seating surfaces recently replaced. This classic Beetle is powered by the original, numbers matching 1585cc Electronic Fuel Injected 4-Cylinder mated to the original 4-Speed Manual Gearbox. Everything functions on the car and it starts/runs exceptionally well. As you will see from the Hagerty Valuation snapshot in the photos, these cars continue to climb in collectibility. Being the final production year, only a two owner vehicle from California, and full restoration in factory triple white color combination, this is a great value at the price offered here. Turn-key and ready for a new garage to call home. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.
