Clear NY title in my name. Body, pan and title VIN numbers match.
This car is not perfect, but pretty close. For a 58 year old car, it's one of the best running/driving VWs I've owned (and I've owned many). Everything works! Good luck finding a pre-66 convertible in this condition at this price.
Engine: Stock 1200cc fresh air 40hp (not original to car). 6 volt system. Rebuilt carb. New fuel lines. Starts right up.
Paint: Repaint original VW Poppy Red in early 90s. 10 footer. Driver quality paint job that used some aftermarket panels/bondo. Could use a good color sanding and buff job. A few dings and scuffs around the car.
Top: A couple small tears and some dirt spots on it. Rear seam above rear window has separated.
Pan: Heater channels/floor patched where needed. Some pin holes still exist on rear of heater channels and front firewall.
Brakes: New lines, shoes and wheel cylinders.
Interior: Recovered 30 years ago. Headliner is flappy. Window frames painted black. Read Less
