Recent Barn Find!!!orient blue and white Volkswagen Tin top.
Cool old Vw Bus. Factory side windows.Factory fitted air con (not tested) all parts are there.Factory sticker states built in 1974. Title was registered in 1975.Rare early automatic transmission. One key fits all locks.VERY very solid bus. I cleaned it with my son and the floors in the cab are amazing for the age! just look at the photos.Middle seat is missing. Interior still has the rubber mats with the rare factory blue over carpets.Please note Mileage is unknown sorry!Also comes with a spare old pair of rear late bay over riders (bumper guards)Only one area ofbondo on the rear drivers side. Apart from that itssuper solid underneath and on all of the body.The bus was lastregistered in 1998 !the last owner startedfittingtwin dellorto carbs and removed the injection i was told. These are resting on top of the engine. Will need recommissioningand motor service.engine bay All looks clean to me. Yes motor and tranny are all there.What yousee is what you get.Themotor looks like itwould operate with a recommission.The van rolls and is easy topush.I fitted a spare battery of mine and yes the wiper motor works.Comeswith the original VW black plastic spare wheel cover andsliding door card panel. I removed them to startcleaning the inside.
So to recap - if you have everdreamed offinding a genuine unmolested Buswith asolid body thenthiscould be the bus for you.Imagine itwith a re paint anddriving again.Certainly a greatinvestment for thefuture. I have seen repainted un molested original tin top bay windows on ebay sell for up to $20k!So thiswould make a great investment. Be quick for Christmas
