Cruisin Classics has stepped out of the box for a moment and would like to offer you a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. The convertible is the Rag Top style and is manually operated. This rotisserie restored 73 has been modernized a level or two. They even added air ride to give it your own personal taste and feel. It is always fun to get to where you are going and drop it down like you mean it. You will have... the only one like it at the show. The two-tone paint is one of the first things that you notice. The contrast of the Red (Dupont Lotus Ardent Red) and White looks great. Bring in the Black running boards and you have a unique look. Also very noticeable and familiar are the Porsche Wheels (16). The tires are Super Steel 595s (1000 miles). Tire size 205/40/16. The car does come with a spare tire. It has 65 fenders front and back. New seals and gaskets all over the Bug. The mileage is N/A. The last pictures in the roll are when the air bags are down. The power consists of a 1776ci engine with dual carburetors, manifold exhaust and Scat crank and rods. The transmission is a manual 4 speed and very easy to operate. It is very easy to steer and the brakes are manual with front disc. Inside you will not only love the look but you will also enjoy the spaciousness. Plenty of leg room for the long people and enough room in the back if you had to put a passenger or two back there. The color scheme is Red and White with comfortable bucket seats, power windows, aftermarket AutoMeter Gauges, Pioneer Stereo-AM/FM CD with 6.25-inch speakers and newer carpet. There is also a convenient bamboo parcel glove tray that is another familiar look of the classic VW. Heat is supplied by the levers in-between the seats and a working fan. The air ride is a singular, 5 gallon, Viair Compressor. Manual valves, .25-inch lines. Front and back control only. Air shocks in the front and bags in the rear.
