1967 Westfalia pop-top camper The good: -Good solid bus with a good original interior. The only replacement Westfalia parts are the curtains, spice rack, bay laminate floor and curtain bungees. -The engine is a rebuilt Mexican AS41 case with single port heads, and about 30 miles on it. -New brakes, tires, interior, steering components shocks ect.. and seals throughout. -Added a shoulder seatbelt for safety -It's an east coast bus so it required lots of lower metal replacement mostly with Klassic Fab, Autocraft and WW cargo floors. I had it on a rotisserie for almost a year. -Paint is honestly a 5 out of 10, its a blend of OG and new single stage but its a 10 foot paint job, its nice but not perfect. -The body is solid but it has small dings and scratches from use, its a user bus not a show bus. The bad/annoying: -The passenger door alignment is off (sticks/hard to close) and I've been unable to adjust it back to where it doesn't annoy me. -Steering box has the typical small flat spot, annoying at first but like all busses you end up not noticing it the more you drive. -The wipers work when they want to, I don't usually drive in the rain but It's an issue that again is annoying. This is by no means a perfect but its an honest bus and its a good real Westy SO-42 to use and camp in. Please contact me if you want additional pictures, or pictures of something specific.
