This is a no reserve auction for our 1972 Westfalia tintop. It was a buddy project that got put on hold due to conflicting schedules and space issues due to city ordinances, it is now in storage.
We purchased it needing a new wiring harness, exhaust and basic buttoning up, to be road worthy again. It is rust free, has a great running 1.7 L engine, has the new wiring harness installed but not completely connected, comes 99% complete with additional parts New/OEM, most parts in vehicle come with it, but some are for another project.. It will need a new battery to start.
We are hoping to see it go to someone that has some basic understanding of these old busses and that's willing to complete the project. It will need a new headliner, rear seats and door cards to complete the interior, the paint looks cool, but a new paint job wouldn't hurt.
(NOTE- You will have to complete wiring and intall new battery at minimal to drive, if you are an out of state buyer it is best to arrange to transport the vehicle, you will not be able to just jump in and drive it home without completing the wiring, registering and insuring.)
If you have any questions feel free to call 858-220-6136
