Cosmetically the Baha looks incredible! Really clean and well put together. The hood fenders and engine cover have all been coated with Rhino Liner and it looks amazing! The chassis and floors are rock solid. There is a metal patch under the battery tray (see pics) which just looks like a reinforcement plate. There are no blisters bubbles or any visible corrosion and the jack points are pristine. The nose is straight no previous damage or accidents. The car appears to be a very low mileage car. The odometer reading is 02,457, which is believed to be 102,457. The green paint finish has a nice luster throughout. Very attractive color combo with just the right amount of patina. All panel fitment is superb and the doors close like a bank vault. The trim, weatherstripping and seals are all in excellent condition. The windows roll up and down with ease and the quarter vent windows lock tightly.
The interior is very basic and respectable looking. The front carpeting is easily removable and looks great! The seats are in very nice condition. There is a small tear on the drivers seat when you fold the seat forward but not visible in the driving position. The headliner, door panels and sun-visors appear to have been updated at some point not that long ago, they all look really nice and fit well.
-Cool steering wheel with Wolfsburg horn button and period Wolfsburgwoodenshift knob.-Newer dash with retro glove box upholstery (missing glove box knob)-(see pics)
This Baha it out of this world! It is very fast, fun to drive and very appealing to the eye~The car is of greatProvenance and most importantly it is as solid as they come. This Baha-Beetle will always put a smile on your face. We hope the next owner/operator appreciates it as much as we do.
