1968 VW Double Cab DOKO

1968 Volkswagen VW Double Cab in Running and driving condition.Clear title. 1600 dual port engine. New fuel tank from Wolfsburg West installed last year. New fuel lines. New starter. Has rust in some of the usual places but very fixable. Frame rails in great shape. Floors are decent. No rust under rear seat like most have. No rust thru on bed. Bed sides decent. Front nose cap pretty dented up. Rear corner has some damage but can be repaired with a patch panel. Seats are decent but back is different color than the front. 14 inch OEM steel rims, Not OEM color however. I drive it around town a few times a week. I buy and sell a lot of VW Buses and I know everyone wants a split bus but I find 50 split window buses for every one Bay Double cab. To put it in perspective, there were 14764 Samba Buses (21 and 23 Window) produced in 1963. In 1968 Double cab production was 13457 making the 1968 Bay window Double cab rarer than the 1963 Samba Bus. You can find these stats on thesamba.com.
