Car description |
---|
Rusty, crusty, and cool! Clean title. I purchased this Ghia a few months back but unfortunately I found a new project so this one has to go. I've done some work here and there cleaning it up and making it reliable.
Exterior- original paint and patina. Original glass. Lots of bumps and bruises, some rust here and there but that's what gives this car character. Rear pan sections are rusty with holes but doesn't effect seat rails. There are metal patch panels installled behind both rear wheels done by previous owners(see photos). Battery tray area has been repaired.
Interior- low back front seat conversion with black vinyl upholstery, new dash pad, new Pioneer Bluetooth stereo and speakers, new glove box. Heater actually works.Driver visor mount is rusted out. No headliner.
Mechanical- good running 1500cc single port motor, new empi exhaust, irs transmission shifts smooth but reverse does pop out sometimes.
Suspension- 4" narrowed front beam with 2-1/2" drop spindles, adjusted spring plates in rear with new shocks.
Brakes- new front disc brakes, calipers, and lines. Rear brakes are drum. E-brake works.
Wheels- new replica 15" Porsche Cosmic wheels with good 145r front and 195-60-15 rear tires. Front wheels have 5x130 adapters and rear drums are drilled for 5x130
Electrical- all lights and turn signals work as they should. Horn is there but not hooked up. New ignition switch. Gas gauge works but I don't know how accurate it is.
Overall this is a great little car that gets lots of attention wherever it goes. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Just jump in and go for a cruise anywhere. Sold as is. I reserve the right to end auction early if the vehicle sells locally. Please only bid if you plan to buy, don't waste my time or yours. If you have any questions or concerns please message me. Happy bidding.
